Atlas Technologies, a division of Stonebridge Technical Enterprises, Ltd., was awarded an order for a new Tailor Laser Welded Blanks Bundle Turn-over (BTO). The order was awarded by a First-Tier International Automotive supplier that is world class producer of stamped and welded body parts and assemblies for the Automotive Industry. The BTO, or Flipper as the customer calls it, will be used with Traditional single thickness Blanks and with Tailor Laser Welded Blanks. The BTO was customized to the customer’s specifications. The Barrel In/Out Same Side Style BTO incorporates selectable cylinders with coordinated hydraulics to target the areas of the blank stacks being clamped to avoid damage to the differing thicknesses in Tailor Welded Blank stacks. An electric turnover drive with control-reliable safety circuit provides safe, smooth, and reliable motion.

Atlas Technologies and Stonebridge Technical Services, both divisions of Stonebridge Technical Enterprises, Ltd. announced today they are proud Sponsors of Fenton Robotics 2023-2024. Fenton Robotics' FRC Team 5114 rookie year was 2014 and we competed in two qualifiers. Our first qualifier was at Kettering University, where we were ranked 18th with an overall record of 7-8-0. We won the Rookie All-Star award and the Industrial Safety award sponsored by Industrial Laboratories. Our second qualifier was in Livonia, MI, where we were ranked 5th and had an overall record of 11-6-0. We won the Highest Rookie Seed award and the Rookie Inspiration award. With the exception of the seasons that COVID interrupted our team has been to the Michigan state finals every year since 2015. We have made it to world's all but 2 of those seasons. We finished our 2021-22 season strong in Houston, TX. Now in our tenth season, and under a new coaching staff, our team continues to improve and grow. We are so excited to be a part of the FIRST community. Founded in 1989 by inventor Dean Kamen, FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a global nonprofit (501(c)(3)) organization that prepares young people for the future through a suite of inclusive, team-based robotics programs for ages 4-18 (PreK-12). Our programs are suitable for schools or structured afterschool activities and receive support from a vast network of volunteers, educators, and sponsor/donors, including over 200 Fortune 500 companies.
